Com isso, o pol\u00edtico ter\u00e1 de devolver R$ 437,7 mil. Em sess\u00e3o desta quinta-feira (28), o Tribunal Regional Eleitoral (TRE-BA) rejeitou por unanimidade um recurso [no caso, embargos de declara\u00e7\u00e3o] do ex-candidato, o que manteve a reprova\u00e7\u00e3o das contas de Vald\u00e9rico J\u00fanior.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Os desembargadores seguiram o voto do relator da mat\u00e9ria, Abelardo da Matta Neto. Vald\u00e9rico J\u00fanior \u00e9 filho do ex-prefeito Vald\u00e9rico Reis, e foi derrotado por M\u00e1rio Alexandre (PSD), em 2020. O atual gestor se reelegeu com 43,24% dos votos v\u00e1lidos. J\u00e1 Vald\u00e9rico J\u00fanior, que ficou em segundo lugar, obteve 23,50% dos sufr\u00e1gios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Caso n\u00e3o devolva os recursos ao Tesouro Nacional, o postulante pode sofrer penalidades que impedem nova candidatura, al\u00e9m de afetar o partido da qual faz parte, que pode ficar impedido de receber recursos do Fundo Partid\u00e1rio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
